Apple 13-inch MacBook Pro M2: how to pre-order

Perhaps one of the more unexpected announcements from Apple’s WWDC event last week was the unveiling of a new 13-inch MacBook Pro that will be powered by Apple’s new M2 processor. While it was initially suggested by Apple that the new MacBook would be available in July, we now know that you can pre-order the new laptop starting Friday, June 17, with retail deliveries and availability starting June 24.

Currently, you can only pre-order configurations of the new 13-inch MacBook through the Apple storefront or through a small handful of authorized resellers that we’ll list on this page as more retailers make pre-orders available.

We haven’t had a chance to try any of these new models of the MacBook Pro yet, but the new M2 CPU will definitely give it an edge over Apple’s previous 13-inch model, even if the hardware is otherwise largely the same. is. † It even retains the divisive Touch Bar and includes active cooling to keep the M2 processor at peak performance, even on tougher projects.
